Music at CUMC
The CUMC Choir, under the direction of Chrissy Almeida, performs a wide variety of music ranging from classical to contemporary. Past performances have included works by Handel, Mozart, Rutter, Haas, the Gaithers, and more. Chrissy is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has extensive experience in church music.
The choir is accompanied by Dave Shrewsbury, also a graduate of Berklee. Dave is well known for his unique arrangements and improvisation.
The choir is always seeking new singers to complement our group of friendly, dedicated members. We warmly welcome people of all skill levels and backgrounds.
